'The Madonna of Asia', much loved Hong Kong pop star and actress Anita Mui revolutionized gantai (cantopop) with her outrageous costumes, wild dancing and femininity. Starred in 'A Better Tomorrow 3' with Chow Yun Fat and opposite Jackie Chan in 'Mr Canton and Lady Rose.' She said: 'Instant shining is not eternity. Show business is a hard life. If I could, I would choose to be a happy ordinary person.'
Her final symbolic act was to 'marry the stage' with her song Sunset Melody playing. Cancer
